Talent Acquisition Partner

Want to be our first Talent Acquisition Partner?

With Frend’s aspirations to increase our growth, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner with big ambitions, who can help us go from 25 to 80. Someone who is eager to deliver full-cycle recruitment processes, and create long-term strategies to attract and retain top talent — all while ensuring a fantastic candidate and employee experience.

What will you be doing?

In short, you will own the hiring roadmap and be responsible for ensuring that we obtain the expertise we need to solve our client's needs now and in the future. But what does this mean for you exactly?

As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you will get to work on varied tasks, both strategic and operational. One of our main focus areas at the moment is to scale our company according to our growth plans. As such, the initial focus for the first 12-18 months in the role will be to work hands-on with talent acquisition, more specifically attracting and recruiting new employees and run recruitment processes. As you grow into the role, your responsibilities may expand into more strategic areas, be it developing long-term recruitment strategies to define the type of people we need, collaborating with our Marketing Department on employer branding, or work with top management and internal stakeholders on how we should position ourselves in the market.

We are planning to build a high quality People Team in the near future, and for the right person, the role would potentially also grow into a Head of People role a bit further down the road, with extended responsibilities and a more strategic focus.

The nuts and bolts of the role, now and in the future

  • Manage and drive high-quality recruitment processes end-to-end

  • Identify recruiting sources and networks

  • Create job descriptions and specifications

  • Guide and train hiring managers on recruitment best practices

  • Create and execute long-term recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent

  • Collaborate with top management and internal stakeholders to constantly look at new ways of working and ensure we become the best in class

  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and together ensure a fantastic candidate experience

  • Represent Frend at job fairs and campus events, and promote Frend as the attractive workplace we are

Who are you?

  • You are a people-person with the ability to negotiate, but also seek to have enough technical knowledge to build relationships with candidates in the industry

  • You have a BSc/MSc within relevant fields (HR, Business, Management, Psychology, or similar)

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian/Nordic and English

  • You share our passion for the interaction between business, technology, and people

  • You are motivated by developing the company through 1) finding new talent that can lift us to the next level; and 2) working to improve processes and structures, constantly iterating to get to that perfect approach

  • You master coordinating several different recruitment processes at the same time and dealing with different stakeholders

  • You have a proactive work approach and an ability to organize your work independently and provide status updates in a timely manner

  • You are not afraid to pick up the phone or get in touch with new people on various platforms

  • You are passionate about providing a first-class candidate experience from A to Z

Ideally, you also have:

  • A few years of proven experience working as a technical recruiter, thus “speaking the language”

  • Experience leading full recruitment processes, including sourcing, cold calling, screening, conducting interviews, and assessment — preferably within the tech industry

  • Some relevant experience with Employer Branding targeted towards technologists and developers

  • A network in the tech industry and are not afraid to use it
